◎ Summary

 

Jisoo was adopted at the age of 11 and struggled to grow up while living as a housekeeper. When Jisoo turned 20, she paid back all the money her adoptive parents had spent raising her and became independent. She then tried to find her birth parents, dreaming of a warm family. However, after years of searching, there was still no sign from her parents. One day, her adoptive father offered Jisoo a deal. If she married the CEO of her company, she would be able to find her birth parents.

In truth, her adoptive father was aiming for the property of the company’s CEO. Jisoo, who longed for her biological parents since childhood, accepted her father’s proposal………

Kang Moohyuk, the CEO of the company, also finds Jisoo in his grandfather’s will. He is determined to marry Jisoo.

 

That’s how the company marriage, unknown to other employees, begins. Moohyuk finds that Jisoo is similar to him, and their marriage is not bad. When a guy close to Jisoo appears, he becomes jealous. Jisoo begins to think that Moohyuk might be in love with her. Then, when Jisoo is also starting to be attracted to Moohyuk, Moohyuk’s first love appears in front of them. Truthfully, she had only left Moohyuk’s side after receiving money from his mother. Moohyuk feels guilty because his stepmother did something bad to her, and his first love approaches him again.

 

Jisoo, who had given up on finding her biological family and instead dreams of a warm family with Moohyuk, doesn’t understand his first love’s scheme. There is a situation that can be misunderstood as trying to send her away with a bribe just like Moohyuk’s stepmother. Moohyuk becomes angry with Jisoo, and Jisoo is disappointed that Moohyuk doesn’t trust her.

 

Then, Jisoo’s adoptive father collapses due to kidney fair and points out Jisoo as a possible kidney donor. Jisoo asks him why he didn’t tell her about her real parents even after she got married and why he pointed her out as a kidney donor. It turns out, Jisoo’s adoptive father is actually her biological father. The day her father abandoned her biological mother, her mother left her at an orphanage in anger, saying, “I’m going to throw away your child, too,” and later died in a traffic accident trying to find her again.

 

After knowing all the facts, Jisoo disappears after making Moohyuk a meal for the last time.

Moohyuk searches for Jisoo and finds her in the orphanage. He then realizes that the friend he met when visiting the orphanage with his grandfather as a child was Jisoo and confesses his feelings. Jisoo returns to Moohyuk.

 

Jisoo and Moohyuk start building again.

One day at a charity party, she meets her mother’s family. They recognize her because she looks so much like her mother and tell her the last thing her missing mother was trying to do.

After finding out her mother didn’t really want to abandon her, Jisoo gains the courage to be with Moohyuk.
