Synopsis	Lee Sanghyun, a man married by arrangement and living a depressed life due to his wife and child support, tries to visit his friend after his wife’s affair. However, he soon discovers his friend Taejin committed suicide through a virtual reality machine. Discouraged, he decides to read his friend’s diary. After reading the diary until the end he faints, and when he wakes up he finds himself in an unfamiliar environment. He comes to find himself not in his current house, but the house of his past.   The protagonist is determined to live anew, however in front of him appears the aunt who aimed for his parent’s insurance money before he returned. However, he realizes that she wasn’t evil by nature. She was just an ordinary person saddled with an unbearable debt. Sanghyun understands her, and helps mend their relationship.   On his way to school, Sanghyun witnesses Taejin prevent an incident that had caused his younger sister trauma. Sanghyun thinks that if he was his best friend, he could have prevented the death of his parents just fifteen days ago. At this moment, Sanghyun decides not to think of his as his best friend anymore. As soon as he arrives at school, he declares his withdrawal from school, and on the way out he begins to think about virtual reality games. Sanghyun begins to suspect that virtual reality was created by demons or some similar being as he feels strange about being unable to use it anywhere else without going beyond current technology.   After Taejin kills Seongryoon’s owner, Sanghyun tells him he doesn’t have to kill Seongryoon and he can instead take it away. Sanghyun followed Taejin and after touching the ashes he left behind, gains a modified Seongryoon. Afterward, Lee Sanghyun, now rich from earning money through stocks, plays a new virtual reality game called “New Century”. He logged in to learn about Seongryoon, thinking there would be traces of it due to doubts about transcendants.   Sanghyun sets the sensitivity to 1% in order to distinguish between reality and virtuality and begins to grow starting with catching rabbits and moving to catching orcs. While raising his level through completing quests, Sanghyun learns of the effects of Seongryoon. Sanghyun’s modified Seongryoon is able to transfer damage to opponents or absorb the opponent’s strength according to the offensive power used, and if it eats the corpse of an opponent, it will fully recover its strength. With this, he is able to become stronger.
